Dear Scouts and Guides,
We would like to invite all Scouts to the Bavarian Jamboree 2024! The camp will take place from 27 July to 5 August 2024 in Königsdorf in the heart of Bavaria. For the camp we are looking for international partner groups who would like to experience the time together with a German group.
Activities that the Bavarian Jamboree will include are, for example, a trip to Munich, a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, hikes and canoe trips as well as programmes at the campsite such as typical games or workshops. Of course, there are also classic campfire evenings and socialising and getting to know each other in our typical black tent constructions.
The camp is organised by the VCP Bayern (Bavaria), which is part of the Association of Christian Scouts and Guides in Germany. The VCP is one of the four central scout associations in Germany. We expect about 500 German scouts and 200 international guests at the camp.
